They work great. Thx RM! For those of you replacing these for the first time on your 9-5, remember to remove the little plastic stop plate that stops the trunk hinge from opening all the way. One on each side. Just look at the trunk hinge as you open it and it will make sense. There is no way to install the new struts w/o removing these little plates. You might as well order those plastic parts when you order the 2 new trunk struts because they crack easily due to age. 5332739 & 5332747
