The part was shipped quickly. I received it within 48 hrs of ordering. Impressive! very good experience! The moulding is genuine and has the Mini stamp on the underside. It fits perfectly. Very straight forward installation. It took far more time removing the old moulding which I am sure some mechanic broke because they must have handled the hood by the ends of the plastic moulding. Love my Mini again! Now if only I can find a way to fill in the scratch on my hood left by the moulding that flew off while I was on the freeway and put a big scratch on the hood
