Worth every bit of the $176.01, if you have top loaded brake pads this thing will pay for itself in time saved every single time. You can definitely use it with floating calipers too, just rotate it to catch the brake caliper ends that hold the outboard brake pad. Note this tool is plated, but it's more silver than gold. Also it's worthwhile to wrap the spatulas (w/ electrical tape) in order to avoid hard contact with the caliper pistons. Keep the thread lubed, and if needed this thing will have no problem doing heavy-duty SUV/Pick-up brakes.
