I purchased this to replace the original antenna in a 2003 GLX Passat that has the rubber coating weathered/pretty much peeling entirely. The price is right but as soon as I mounted it the VCSD found an error in the radio module. I monitored the reception which is at 57 % for this URO brand. I reinstalled the old antenna, the code disappeared and the reception is 68-70 %. It is an ok part for cosmetic purposes, but it just is a waste of money.
