this is a genuine BMW expansion tank for the e30 series of cars with the m20 motor. fits exactly as intended. design is rather poor but it does what its meant to do. the failure point on the one I replaced was right behind the brass sleeve on the pump to tank spout. had BMW lengthened the brass sleeve, the components would not have failed. 30 year old plastic is brittle and fails, this new tank should last another 30 years. RM European shipped this product without delay and I would absolutely do business with them again.
