Excellent fit and well constructed. I purchased the cap mainly for the gasket, which I installed on my original cap. I had purchased a Viton (blue) gasket which definitely sealed, but after a tank full of diesel (about two weeks) it was too tight for my wife to remove-even after silicone lube. This gasket did the trick. I'm saving the plastic one in case we lose the original.

The gas leaks. The gasket lining must be too thin or something, because the gas leaks. The gas cap doesn’t completely seal the gas from leaking. I filled my car with gas and the gas fumes were strong and the gas leaked.

I bought one of this before, and it get quite rusted. Buy another one only because it is cheap
