Question?

Decent replacement, spark plug tubes. They had some stray rubber moldings strands that needed to be cleaned up. The ribs could have been a little deeper on the cyl head side to match the OEM units. These do appear to be much better than the MEISTERSATZ (topran) units that were in my X5 on the driver side. I bought the X5 used and don't know its fully history. I decided to do the valve cover gasket and spark plug tubes job after finding oil on the driver side plugs. The passenger side was OEM and had much less leakage. The MEISTERSATZ/topran tubes that were on my passenger side (with unknown but probably a lot less than the 114k miles that are on the car) had ribs that did not stick out enough on the head side to seal the tubes and had a bad leak. They appear to be flawed and I would avoid them where the Febi units look like they should work but aren't quite as nice as the genuine BMW units (you get what you pay for). Time will tell how the Febi units hold up... If they leak I will update the review.
