Fits fine. Hard to say if it will hold up like the more expensive BMW part which also breaks after a while.

It's a cosmetic cover. It does not affect fit, form or function. It just covers fasteners that hold down the plastic engine covers. Most people probably would not care whether they are there or not but I am stickler for having things where they belong. I would rather have them in place than not but they are not a necessary item. It seems that after you remove them two or three times the flimsy plastic legs break off regardless of how careful you are.
