Made of high strength aircraft aluminum, this highly engineered updated design is superior to the original plastic lever, which is not available as a spare part from the car manufacturer. The center hole, which is a plastic bearing surface, has been replaced with a corrosion resistant, permanently lubricated, and sealed, stainless steel ball bearing of ABEC class 5 tolerance, and includes a stainless steel mounting bolt.
