Product (retrofit pencil-type glow plugs for a 1977 240D) w/ground shipping -- arrived soon and price/shipping was reasonable.
FYI: tools needed 21mm & 8mm wrench/socket
When retrofitting the old-style (loop) plugs: remove existing wiring between the plugs (and the ground strap!)
Install 10AWG jumper from plug 4 to 3, 3 to 2, and 2 to 1, Do NOT connect the ground strap -- that would just blow the fuse
