Update to my previous review....I bought a supposedly genuine VDO from Ebay, and wow that was worse. Killed my car.
I will say the car ran fine with the Bremi,
I have an idea to put a hose clamp around it to keep it from coming apart. Then check it periodically and if and when the glue fails, glue it with JB Weld. Better than paying  $300 or getting a fake one.off ebay.

Had 2 of them. Worked ok for a while, passed smog etc.

1st one the sensor blew out the side of the housing and was hanging in the engine compartment after just a few thousand miles.
Got it replaced under warranty.

2nd one did the same thing, again after maybe 2K miles but this time it was damaged and was beyond the warranty period.
So, I have done a bit of thinking about this. I suppose if you either
a. rip the sensor from the housing and re-glue with a better glue, or
b. You put gorilla tape around the unit and check it frequently till the glue fails and then glue it.
I had contacted JB Weld, and they stated their standard product would be good for this application, but that was before I realized it had become damaged the 2nd time around when it blew out the side. I guess Bremi didn't compensate for the fact that this is going to be under pressure (Kompressor).
All I know is under no circumstances do I was another one, even if it was free and I'm going to bite the bullet and pay for the OEM one.
