So here's the deal. I picked these B8 Bilsteins because the vehicle already had Bilsteins, they were part of a Dinan suspension package installed almost 30 years ago, the B8 is for a lowered suspension and because they failed. The vehicle was up on the lift for an extended period for an engine swap. When back on the road the rear shocks compressed to their shortest length and stayed that way. Cut one open and found that the valving was clogged with some debris from an internal failed fibre washer. These new B8s are excellent. 1992 325i.
