Ok, so this is the bearing support without the bearing. You would think pressing in the bearing would be about a 1 minute affair but...NO. Once you realize the bearing is going in crooked, you start questioning yourself and your equipment. Then, once all that checks out, you realize that the bearing support has like this extra leftover rubber stuff where the bearing goes that's keeping it from seating properly. So the bearing has to be removed, an exacto knife has to be used to dig out the extra rubber stuff, etc. It would be different if this was a one-time thing but the first time it happened, I ruined the new support trying to remove the new bearing. It can be verified that I've bought two of these from RME. It's not their fault, though, it's the manufacturer's. And before you think, "Why not buy the support with the bearing installed?" Well, I did and the inside diameter of the "common" bearing (30mm) doesn't fit AMG models (32mm). So there you have it. I've spent over $100 over a 60 day period for this stupid AMG driveshaft bearing/support.
